Never released pics of Maggie as a puppy!!! It's been amazing to have Maggie in our life. She's grown up so fast in the last four months, I feel like I haven't taken enough pictures of her although I probably have at least 500. Please continue to be the good little puppy that you are!
Maggie is bummed Japan did not win the match against Paraguay. Let's see which of the same 7 countries will win the world cup again.

She doesn't do this much anymore but when Maggie was a little younger, we would give her a bone and she would pace around the house whimpering with the bone in her mouth. They say that it's a sign she wants to bury the bone somewhere and save it for later. One of those strange phases a puppy goes through.
It takes a while to get Maggie going in the morning. For some reason, we find her sleeping on the couch in the morning even though we put her in her own bed at night. I'm really glad she's not one of those early morning dogs....
Thanks to an anonymous donor who left a box full of brand new dog clothes at Esprit Park, Maggie has a new shirt! This polo makes her look more like a boy, but I think it suits her. I always thought she was going to go berserk if I even made an attempt to put clothes on her, but she protested very little. Thank you anonymous donor!
Not that we have any doubts about whether or not Maggie is a real Shiba, we thought it'd be fun to find out if she had any other breed in her. She is not as big as other Shibas and she loves people and other dogs (unlike most Shibas). But on the other hand, she does her typical Shiba 'scream'; she absolutely HATES getting a bath; and makes a great watchdog.
Maggie's ears picks up all kinds of noises. This morning she heard the street cleaning truck go by and wondered if that thing actually cleans or pollutes our environment....
And the dogs are out on full-scale! Maggie's pretty stoked about playing with her pup pals. She's so friendly sometimes that she's warned to back off by older, grumpy dogs.
Today was dogfest 2010 at Esprit Park, the dog park we most frequent during the week. I have never seen so many people and their dogs at this park before. Supposedly it is like this around 4 or 5 o'clock during weekdays. Maggie was delighted to play with so many different pup pals, but she still liked to dish it with her new best friend Caber, the Miniature Australian Shepherd.
I'm a Shiba girl born in MO. and living a mellow life in Burlingame, CA. I love going to the beach and walking around the neighborhood. Everyone says I look like a little fox!
