Yesterday we met a Akita-Husky mix named Matty-girl.
She was really beautiful but extremely aloof with people.
But Maggie being a people dog and choosy with whom she plays,
they didn't really care much for each other.
She found a pine cone to bring home instead.

ReplyDeleteI would just like to point out that your shiba, Maggie, looks 100% identical to my shiba, Hiro. Also, he has the SAME EXACT markings as Maggie! For example:
-White socks on all 4 legs, white tip tail, white chest, some black on the forehead and neck, a white birthmark JUST on the back of the neck
I have also noticed that Maggie was born in MO, which is where Hiro was born as well. Based on what I know, I assume that Maggie and Hiro MIGHT BE related!
I would be glad to email you all this information, however I was not able find any contact information other than commenting on one of your blogs. If I can please have your email address, I would be glad to show you some pictures and videos of Hiro, just to show you how similar they look and act, and maybe even meet up some time in person! DeleteThanks for visiting our blog! So your Hiro looks just like our Maggie... that's very interesting. We've come across a few Shibas that share the same characteristics as Maggie and often wondered whether they are related back in Missouri.
We got Maggie online (probably from a puppy mill), so I'm not sure as to the authenticity of her certificate but it states that her dad was "Happy Jack" and her mom was "Amy TK". Unfortunately, the breeder I got her from no longer exists online...
How old is Hiro? Maggie will be 3 this October. She just learned to swim this summer and loves to go to the beach. We take her everywhere to hike and even camping too. She doesn't care too much about other dogs or Shibas, but she has a best friend who is a white Shiba that she gets along with very well.
