They say best things in life are free. Which is very true for Maggie. She loves to play with plastic containers, bottle caps, ice cubes, rocks and papertowel centers. She doesn't care for the remote-controlled mouse or the laser toy I bought for her. Did I mention she LOVES the dirt in the planter? Urgggh!
We didn't puppy-proof our house because Maggie was such a good puppy. Until now. She's getting more mischievous everyday. The worst is when she goes into the planter and grabs a mouthful of soil and trails it around the house.
Can you tell which one is Maggie? They looked almost identical it was amazing! The one on the right is Maggie, making the funny face. They chased each other around and around for a while it was so fun to watch. We LOVE Crissy Field Beach!
Today was one windy day at Ocean Beach. After an hour of weaving through traffic we finally reach our destination only to have sand blasted in our faces and no other doggies to play with. Nevertheless, Maggie seemed to enjoy the open space, sand and the waves like she usually does when we bring her to a beach. She can still be intimidated by those icy cold waves though.
I was walking Maggie around our neighborhood streets yesterday and I see a shiba waiting outside a grocery store all by herself! Her leash was tied to a bar, but come on! You can't trust a shiba alone outside because: a) someone will steal the cute little dog because people steal anything and everything ALL the time here; and b) shiba's can get feisty and loosen it's own leash somehow. You do not want a shiba on the loose!
I walked over to the pup with Maggie, and was delighted to see that they were practically same in size. I let Maggie and who I later learned was Goji sniff each other to get acquainted. Goji looked a bit nervous so I told Maggie to keep her company while she waited for her owner to come out. I was also worried that someone might snatch Goji... I know I won't be able to leave Maggie outside by herself! Goji didn't seem to care much to play until her owner came out. She got excited and that excited Maggie and they were wrestling each other, it was too cute. Nice meeting you Goji!
I'm a Shiba girl born in MO. and living a mellow life in Burlingame, CA. I love going to the beach and walking around the neighborhood. Everyone says I look like a little fox!
